Hidden Treasures Botanical Tours was created to offer specialty tours throughout the world, highlighting unique public and private sites not often discovered on the average trip abroad. Our tours specialize in revealing the natural beauty, history and culture of the locations we visit. We emphasize custom itineraries where we strive to visit each and every location prior to offering a tour, small group sizes and unique, quaint accommodations. Mary Kroening, the owner of Hidden Treasures Botanical Tours, has over 10 years' experience leading garden tours throughout the world. She started by offering horticulture study tours to Costa Rica with custom itineraries designed specifically for Master Gardener groups. Since that beginning she has arranged tours for gardeners, bird watchers, wine enthusiasts, natural history interest groups and others.

We limit tours to a maximum of 24 participants and often limit to as few as 8 or 10 on specialty tours. Our guides are well trained and experts in the field pertinent to the itinerary.

Large portions of our clientele are repeat travelers. Some have joined us on every tour we have offered and have come to appreciate the quality of our tours, the unique sites we visit and accommodations that reflect the natural beauty of the surrounding area we are visiting.
